CRANKSHAFT GRINDING & WELDING
With a pair of Berco 270 crankshaft grinders, two hardened flux welding machines, certified magnaflux and micropolishing equipment allows us to handle any size crankshaft service need. Since 1973 we have proudly ground thousands of crankshafts with precision for our loyal customers.
CYLINDER HEAD REBUILDING
With a Rottler multi angle valve seat cutting machine, two CBN ultra smooth resurfacing machines and two center less valve grinding machines, Westchester Crankshaft is able to consistently e a superb remanufactued cylinder head. Pressure testing and magafluxing is performed on every cylinder head core before remanufacturing process begins. Most popular applications are already built in stock for immediate exchange or outright. Our cylinder head department is typically capable of rebuilding any cylinder head in one business day.
CONNECTING ROD RECONDITIONING
Our Sunnen rod machines allow precise big end reconditioning to factory size consistently. We install new wrist pin bushing and hone to fit as well as offer replacement con rods on exchange for most engines.
CYLINDER BLOCK MACHINING
Our cylinder block department consists of digital Rottler boring and resurfacing machines, a multi tooled Sunnen cylinder hone and line hone machine and a Berco BC5 linebore machine. We are able to sleeve, bore and hone, deck resurface, linehone, counterbore, linebore, magnaflux and prep almost any size engine block accurately.
ENGINE REMANUFACTURING
Our factory remanufactured long and short blocks include a accurately machined block, a precision ground crankshaft, quality reman cyl heads, reconditioned rods, new pistons & rings, timing kit, camshaft & lifter kit, oil pump and gasket set. Every longblock is sim tested for oil pressure and compression before delivery. We have sold thousands of quality reman long and short block since 1973. Our 12 month unlimited mileage warranty is standard with the purchase of any engine we sell.
GENERAL MACHINING
Westchester Crankshaft also offerr general machine shop services. Flywheel resurfacing, axle welding and grinding, aluminum crack welding repairs, bearing press jobs and stripped or broken bolt thread repairs.
